Upcoming budget meetings

–

» Aug. 14: Public hearing on the five percent water/wastewater rates and second budget workshop, including consideration of funding outside agencies.

» Aug. 19: First public hearing on tax rate and public hearing on the proposed budget. A workshop will also be held to discuss compensation classification study results.

» Sept. 2: Second public hearing on tax rate; second reading and discussion of water/wastewater rates.

» Sept. 16: Council will consider adoption of the 2009 budget and property tax rate on emergency and will also vote on the water/wastewater proposed increase.
