LBJ’s 100th Birthday Party and Barbecue

A Celebration Of Hays County Democrats

4 p.m., Sunday, September 7th, 2008

Texas Old Town in Kyle

Featured entertainment will include Shelley King, 2008 Texas State Musician and “Ben Franklin and Friends Defending the Constitution.”

Barbecue dinner with all the trimmings prepared by veteran BBQ chefs Former Sheriff Don Montague and Hays County Constable David Peterson. Iced tea and lemonade will be provided. Patrons are also welcome to “bring your own beverages.”

Tickets are $25 per person - with proceeds going to the Hays County Democratic Party. This event is the HCDP’s major fundraiser for the year, and this year fundraising is more vital than ever. With the record volunteer effort that is taking place across the county in this 2008 general election, funds raised will go a long way AND stay in the county!
