STAFF REPORT

Three of five teens accused of drugging and sexually assaulting two girls at a party last fall did not walk the stage at Lehman High School’s graduation ceremony May 31, the Hays Free Press reports.

Jesse Primeau, 17, and Chad Miles, 18, were listed in the commencement program as graduates but did not participate in the ceremony. A third teen, Ricard Carillo, 18, was still in the Hays County jail on a $100,000 bond, the newspaper reports. Primeau was indicted last month for indecency with a child; Miles and Carillo are charged with sexual assault. Two other juveniles face the same charges and are awaiting a ruling from County Court-at-Law Judge Linda Rodriguez on whether they will be tried as adults, the Free Press reports.

The teens allegedly invited minor girls to a gathering at one of their homes and sexually assaulted them when the girls lost consciousness.
