this is simply ridiculous. the city of buda said that giving this new curfew law will hopefully limit the number of juveniles getting into trouble but if you set a curfew law on them than thats just going to get them into more trouble because you are putting more law on them. and right now i may sound like a parent who lets their child roam the streets at 3 in the morning but here is a perfect example of how a good kid could get in trouble by this. last night my son went to a 10:20 movie showing at southpark meadows and did not get back till 1:45 and i did check the time and how long the movie was and it was a very long movie. and now if he would have got pulled over coming home from the movie and got qa curfew ticket than that would be completly unfair and unreasonable. i understand that teenagers do go out and do drinking and drug use but i believe if a kid id under the influence and gets caught they should be charged with possesion with a controlled substance and a curfew ticket. not kids who are just coming home late. another solution would be setting the curfew time just a little bit later like 2 at the latest. i just believe a little bit more should be considered about this. thank you.
