Man charged with sexually assaulting 12-year-old girl

A 54-year-old San Marcos man is in jail accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl this weekend.
The victim reported the assault to Doris Miller Junior High officials on Monday, who notified police. Officers arrested Enrique “Henry” Ramirez and charged him with sexual assault of a child, a first-degree felony punishable by up to life in prison.
Ramirez is being held on a $100,000 bond as San Marcos police continue the investigation.
