Third Kyle teen arrested in alleged party sex assault
STAFF REPORT
Hays County Sheriff’s office said today they had arrested a third teen in the alleged sexual assault of two girls who lost consciousness at a party last fall and blacked out.
Ricardo Carrillo, 17, was indicted earlier month on a sexual assault and criminal conspiracy charge. Two former Lehman High School students turned themselves in Saturday on charges stemming from the same incident. Chad Miles, 18, is charged with sexual assault and criminal conspiracy. Jesse Primeau, 17, is charged with indecency with a child and criminal conspiracy.
Carrillo is being held on $50,000 bond at the Hays County jail, Lt. Leroy Opiela said. Authorities have released few details about the case except that two girls reported blacking out at a party and believed they were assaulted by as many as five boys. Two other teen boys, both younger than 17, have been indicted in the case but authorities are not releasing their names, a sheriff’s office spokesperson has said.
