Lee Ann Womack to perform at CTMC gala
STAFF REPORT
County Music Award- and Grammy-winning Lee Ann Womack will headline the Central Texas Medical Center Foundation’s Stars of Texas Gala on Sunday, Oct. 11.
Wommack won three CMA awards in 2001 for her crossover hit, “I Hope You Dance.” A silent auction will include memorabilia signed by her.
“Since the event will honor the women of CTMC’s medical staff, it seems appropriate that such a talented and successful woman provide the night’s entertainment,” said Jerilyn Miller, the foundation’s coordinator.
In its 17th year, the gala this year will benefit the hospital’s Women’s Center scheduled to open in November. It will be at the Embassy Suites Hotel, Spa and Conference Center.
For information about purchasing individual tickets or tables, sponsorship opportunities or to make a donation, call the CTMC Foundation office at (512) 753-3676 or visit www.ctmc.org.
